Nokia Glance 2.0, Have You Tested? :

Black with Lumia , you are entitled to a bunch of new features including Nokia Glance Screen in its edition 2.0, called "Peekaboo " in Windows Phone in French . This is the famous permanent standby screen (or not) that indicates the time but also your notifications.

In this v2.0 you now have more options, it is possible to activate the "preview" mode, which displays Glance when the proximity sensor is triggered ( you pass your hand over , you take your device from your pocket or return if screen down on a surface). Mode " Intermittently " offers Glance regularly during the day or night but not continuously , which reduces energy consumption ( ditto for "Preview" , of course) . You can also enable " Always On " or decide to permanently display only when the device is charging .

Include night mode , to reduce the brightness of the view (and again , can change the color , red, green, blue ) for a certain time range.

Nokia is clearly a Glance become indispensable on devices from Nokia, which is accompanied by the dreaded double tap to "wake up" the display function.
